Fresh, Warm Oats with Cinnamon Almond

A wonderfully delicious & simple way to use PB Love’s most popular almond butter - CINNAMON ALMOND!

Ingredients

½ cup Old Fashioned oats (you can use quick oats, or Steal cut-just following the directions on your package)

1 c milk or water, or a combo of both. I like to cook mine in water, and then top it with whole milk at the end.

¼ tsp salt (so they don’t taste like paste)

2 T or a handful of dried cranberries

2 T PB Love CO Cinnamon Almond Butter, more to taste

1 T pepitas, for crunch

Instructions

  1. Mix oats, liquid, salt in a saucepan and heat until it begins to boil. Add in the cranberries and turn down the heat and simmer until thick, about 3-5 minutes.

  2. Remove from stove and mix in the Cinnamon Almond butter, add any extra milk/cream.

  3.  Pour into serving bowl, and top with pepitas

*Instead of cranberries, try any fresh fruit you like. My favorite is diced Colorado Peaches when they’re in season in late summer. You could also add diced apples to the cooking process.
