We are so excited to announce that The PB Love Company was chosen as one of three finalists from more than 100 other local start-ups for the Start-Up Business of the Year by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce!
This is a very exciting and encouraging honor! Being one of three start-ups chosen, out of more than 100, means that we are doing something right. And, as first-time entrepreneurs, it's nice to get a little encouragement and praise, as well as some signs that we're on the right track. When you work for yourself, there's not someone over your shoulder to tell you if you're right or wrong - which is what being an entrepreneur is all about!
Being a finalist means we now have the opportunity for huge amounts of exposure and PR - thousands of people in the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce network, plus hundreds more in the Denver business community. Not to mention a VIP Cocktail night for all finalists, a high quality PB Love video shoot, and an awards luncheon to announce the winner!
All in all, this is an enormous learning experience and we can't wait to see what the future has in store once all the craziness dies down a little. But for now, we're enjoying the ride! And stay tuned for updates on the final results - the winners will be announced April 29.
