What a way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day, but with easy homemade ice cream recipe. We were in amazement that this recipe didn't require an ice cream machine, it is dairy-free and was another way to eat Cinnamon Almond butter.
Dairy-free ice creams opens the door for any one to have ice cream regardless of dietary restrictions. Ice cream is one of those meals that can customizable and is indulgent. We all deserve to treat ourselves. We adapted Beaming Baker 's recipe by using our Cinnamon Almond butter, adding a depth of flavor and #yumminess.
1 (13.66oz) can Full-Fat Coconut Milk
3/4 cup Cinnamon Almond butter
2 TSP Vanilla Extract
3-4 TBSP Pure Maple Syrup (depending on how sweet you want it)
*we suggest adding 1 cup of sliced almonds or chocolate chips for extra fun and texture.*
1. Add coconut milk, Cinnamon Almond butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to a medium sized bowl.
2. Blend with a hand mixer or in a food processor until smooth. Scrape down the sides periodically. * Gently mix in sliced almonds or chocolate chips.*
3. Pour mixture into a freezer-friendly container. Cover and place in a freezer.
4. Freeze for 3-6 hours or until firm.
Celebrate this wonderful day with delicious Ice Cream! Thank you for reading.
