We Are Direct-To-Consumer

This blog post is intended to give you a little more insight into how and why we at PB Love do what we do. When I first had this idea of selling peanut butter on the internet, I didn't really understand what I was getting myself into.

What eventually evolved out of the original idea, is what we call "The PB Love Experience". The shortest way to describe what "The PB Love Experience" is; our commitment to feeding people real delicious food and spreading smiles. We want to make you happy.. its so damn fun!


Direct-to-consumer means we sell 100% of our product directly to YOU from US. We are not in any retail shops or grocery stores. And we do not sell in bulk to restaurants and other food makers. 

We engaged in wholesale for a short 3 years with success and created some wonderful partners/friends during that time. Ultimately we decided that wholesale was pulling us away from our original vision of selling direct and we closed our accounts - there were definitely some tough goodbyes.

Why D2C?

It's pretty simple:

1. Freshness - Because we grind fresh every week, we are able to sell the tastiest product possible. Fresh, real food is usually the tastiest.

2. Customer satisfaction - This is part of the PB Love Experience. Selling D2C means we get to interact directly with you. We are in love with feeding you and making you happy!

3.  Financial - When we have stronger, healthier margins we can take better care of our teammates, contribute back to our community, afford more sustainable, responsible manufacturing practices, and lots more. It's a win-win. 

4. Lifestyle - Four-day work weeks and/or a very flexible schedule allows the PB Love Co. team the ability to live lives that are healthy and fulfilling. We have a lot of fun while GSD'ing (getting shit done) and we have the time to give ourselves, family, and friends, lots of love. 


Truth is, there are very little other reasons why I decided to create a business model that was direct. Thanks to technology, old traditional models of business are not as popular as they once were. 

We are excited to continue growing and building our D2C business. Our team is small and we are happily taking the slow-roll approach to our growth. Who knows, maybe one day we will be the top peanut butter company selling directly to their customers on the internet! 


Everyone knows life has strange ways and things change. If we are to return to wholesale, don't worry, we will let you know when and where you can find us.

PB Love will be celebrating our 7th year anniversary on April, 9th - wow! It has been a wild and crazy fun journey for sure. We are all grateful for the positions we are in at PB Love Co., and we are looking forward to more happiness, more challenges to navigate, and to feed you more PB Love!
