What is up PB Lovers! OH man, what a year we are leaving behind. Peanut butter paradise (what we call our home here at our Denver facility) was exactly that - blissful and efficient days on the production line, happy smiles stuck to the faces of our small team, and the tastiest premium nut butters flowing like waterfalls each day!
Hah! Are you kidding me? All small business owners would love it if their companies ran in paradise every day. Don’t get me wrong… our little paradise was just as described - most of the time : )
We had a lot of wins in 2021 we are very proud of. We of course navigated many challenges and successfully pulled through all the curve balls this paradise had to throw at us. #life
Our farmer’s market season ended successfully. It’s always so fun to see our regulars supporting us and other local vendors at the markets. We also killed it at engaging with new customers and giving them a taste of what PB Love is all about.
Our online store continues to grow and is definitely keeping us very busy. It’s a ton of fun for us when it’s time to get the creative juices flowing to figure out where we will take our online store next.
The biggest challenge we had to engage in this year was making the decision to close all of our wholesale accounts. We created very happy and strong partnerships with many wonderful food-service customers and retail businesses here in Colorado and beyond. We made the decision to focus 100% of our business resources and operations towards our direct-to-consumer business model. It was tough to leave our partners, while we felt this was the best decision for our long-term success.
We continue to succeed in fulfilling our purpose: feeding people real delicious food and spreading smiles. We truly love feeding people. A tremendous amount of gratitude goes out to all of our other partners/vendors, investors, teammates, and of course our PB Lovers. Thanks to each and every one of you for helping us spread the PB Love!
We are certainly already GSD-ing (getting shit done) and we cant wait to kick 2022’s ass! We look forward to feeding you again soon.
