Prepare something extra special for your loved ones that includes a little PB Love. With Salty Peanut and the Chocolate Hazelnut Butter from Jem Organics, we developed a lovely dessert to be devoured this Valentine's Day.
This light, fluffy, and creamy mouse will only take 5 minutes to make and 5 minutes till your liking the bowl clean.
1 jar Salty Peanut
1 cup Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
1 cup Powdered Sugar, sifted
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1. In a large mixing bowl, with a hand mixer beat together Salty Peanut, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until fully mixed. Set aside.
2. In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. About 5-8 minutes.
3. Take 1/4 of the whipped heavy cream and add to the peanut butter mixture. Beat until fully mixed. With remaining whipped heavy cream, in two parts, by hand gently fold into the peanut butter mixture.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Take a fancy glass dish. Starting with the Chocolate Hazelnut Butter, layer twice with the mouse and top with a chocolate dipped strawberry.
Portion out servings into empty PB Love jars and add some more chocolate hazelnut butter on top. Keeps well for up to 2 weeks (if it lasts the night).
