In November 2018, one of our OG’s, Salty Peanut, was named a 2019 finalist and was crowned a 2019 winner this past January. We are pleased our most popular almond butter has made it to the finalist round, and we are praying to the almond butter gods we make it to the 2020 winners circle.
“The Good Food Foundation exists to celebrate, connect, empower and leverage the passionate and engaged, yet often overlooked, players in the food system who are driving towards tasty, authentic and responsible food in order to humanize and reform our American food culture.”
“Through five key programs – Awards, Guild, Alliance, Mercantile and Fund – they build widespread support for the growers, ranchers, makers, and merchants stubbornly swimming upstream to create and share the kind of food we all want to eat: tasty, authentic and responsible. “ - Good Food Awards Foundation
403 finalists were chosen out of 1,835 product entries this year.
Out of the 42 states representing all the finalists, Colorado has 13 other food and beverage makers that have made it to the finalist’s circle. You can see that list here.
2020 winners will be announced at the annual Good Food Awards gala held in San Francisco, CA. on Friday, January 17th.
If you are interested in joining the festivities, you can purchase your ticket to the awards ceremony here.
Once again, we are thrilled to have made it this far, and this finalist position is a demonstration of our work and purpose – to feed people real delicious food and spread smiles.
Congratulations to all the other 402 finalists and thank you for the wonderful work you do, and the amazing food you produce.
Send us your winning almond butter vibes and keep a lookout for a winners’ badge in 2020!
Thank you for reading.
