2019 started off with a bang for The PB Love Company. Salty Peanut was the winner of our very first big food award! Named a 2019 Good Food Awards winner, Salty Peanut is a demonstration of the work and commitment the people behind The PB Love Company have.
We were invited to a three-day weekend in California to celebrate the accolade with a little over 200 other winning food producers, manufactures, and farmers. They held a great ceremony to hand out awards. There was a casual dinner party afterwards that was a lot of fun, and there was a Good Food Mercantile show the day after to meet buyers, other vendors, and to learn about new products. We even got to sell our winner, Salty Peanut at one of the local farmers markets with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Good Food Awards Foundation is based in San Francisco, and they honor food producers that engage in social and environmental responsibility, while celebrating their craftsmanship and flavors.
It was an honor and a pleasure to have participated in this whole weekend with so many others fulfilling the same purpose… feeding people real, delicious food and making them happy.
